Mission
The mission of the Tennessee Technology Centers is to continue to serve as the premier provider for workforce development throughout the State of Tennessee. Tennessee Technology Center at Oneida/Huntsville will fulfill the mission by: providing competency-based training through traditional and distance learning instructional delivery systems of the highest quality that will qualify individuals for employment and/or advancement in jobs providing high-quality training and retraining of employed workers providing high-quality training that is economical and accessible to all residents in the Center’s service area, thereby contributing to economic and community development of the communities we serve.

On January 15th, the Tennessee Technology Center at Oneida/Huntsville’s Cosmetology program enjoyed having thirty-seven students from Scott High School’s Cosmetology department tour the TTC facility. These high school students are able to articulate their Cosmetology hours toward post secondary training in the Cosmetology program at Tennessee Technology Center. |
School ProfileThe Tennessee Technology Center at Oneida/Huntsville is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents which is the seventh largest system of higher education in the nation. This system governs 27 technology centers, 14 community colleges, and 6 universities. A Tennessee Board of Regents Institution Tennessee Technology Center at Oneida/Huntsville is accredited by the Commission of The Council on Occupational Education.
The Automotive Technology program is ASE certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence. |
