James Stanfill and Larrisa King become Microsoft MCTS Certified

The Tennessee Technology Center at Oneida/Huntsville’s Computer Information Technology instructor Rodney Stephens would like to announce that James Stanfill and Larrisa King become Microsoft Windows 7 MCTS Certified.

After passing the A+, NET+, and Security+ national certifications, CIT students have the option to pursue an advanced Microsoft certification ultimately earning Microsoft’s MCITP.  James and Larrisa successfully passed the Microsoft Window 7 certification curriculum along with the advanced Microsoft certification exam.  The Windows 7 certification exam proves a student’s skills in Windows 7configuration and advanced networking.

CIT instructor Rodney Stephens quotes, “Along with our hands-on training and well equipped labs, our academic course material provides students with the education needed to pursue a successful career as future IT employees. James and Larrisa are the type of students an instructor longs to teach. I can see a promising IT career in their future.”

Rodney states that advanced students also have a second option of pursuing Cisco’s CCNA certification.  We are a Cisco Networking Academy.  Just as the Microsoft’s MCITP certifications, Cisco’s CCNA certification is a must have in its arena.  Students holding either of these certifications will be extremely valuable when pursuing employment.

Anyone interested in enrolling in the Computer Information Technology program may contact the Center at 423-663-4900, visit our website at www.ttconeida.edu or visit the Center at 355 Scott High Drive in Huntsville.  “Workforce Development:  it’s what we do!”
